Question On/Off Valves

What is the point of havin On/Off valves for your CO2 tank? Is all it does is not make it have that little "explosion" of extra gas when you take off your tank? Thanks.

pretty much... and you save all of them about 5 or 6 shots that would sploosh out of your gun.... they're pointless, but if you really need one then go for it..
