Need help choosing a marker
OK all, I am totally new to the sport and have realized one thing right off the bat, rental markers suck! I am looking at 3 possible markers that are in my price range.
1) Spyder (although everyone says they are breaking all the time)
2) Viewloader Maxis Pro Team E/G
3) PMI Piranha GTI
What do you all think?

Personally after recently using both and Imagine and my own GTI, I have to say the GTI. It was quieter, and had a little les kick. Both worked great though so it would be personal preference.

Piranha GTI, why? becouse its not a spyder. Spyders are not the most reiable of guns and i have a Piranha, it is really nice, no problems with it, shoots great, barly ever break a ball with it. Nice gun, much more reliable then a spyder.

Both Fish and Spyders are good and reliable because they both have only a little parts. Stop fighting about which is better because as an owner of both, they are practically the same.

Spyder Problems that i have seen in the past year-
2 Stock feednecks breaking off in the middle of a war.
E-trigger stops working
Bolt wears down fast, starts leaking
back end of bolt breaks off
Gun no longer recockes itself after you shoot once
and don't say that they were not maintained well becouse i know that most of them were (some probbly not so much but still)
Go with the Piranha, a saver bet in my opionin.

1. quit calling it a war. its a game.
2. etrigger broke? the battery probably died.
3. bolt wear comes naturally, or the stuff wasnt oiled correctly
4. somehow breaking the back end of a bolt sounds like a user malfunction, not a downfall of a spyder
5. not recocking? oil it. maybe you dont have enough air.
6. learn how to spell at least half decent before presenting your side of a story (that seems false)

Ive owned a Spyder for about a year also without problems. But before you Fish owners go knocking Spyders, you do realize that your gun is a huge ripoff of a spyder? Thats right - you're using the same gun, only less upgradeable. And the kick thing makes no sense, the bolt/striker are considerably heavier than a spyder's.
