mech guns.

Are all mech guns the same. so is it worth to get a more expensive mech gun. do they all shoot the same and have the same reliability?

saying all mech guns are the same is a lie.. thats simply untrue.

Saying all sypder guns are the same is true.

not all of them shoot the same, and a tippman would have mnore reliability then lets say a spyder or something

Their is a whole lot of difference. I assume your talking mainly about automag's and autococker's. So i suggest you research them and find which you like better.

But im my opinion, mag's are more reliable than cocker's. But that's just me.

He said mechs, he's talking about mostome 'Mags, some 'Cockers, some Spyders (Or any blowback), most Tippmans. But yeah, there is still a massive difference. Take the Deadlywind hAir trigger for the 'Mag for example, 16 bps on a mech. And the trigger pull on a ULT kit 'Mag, or a Hinge frame 'Cocker, is still different than on a blowback/Tippman.

They all shoot different and have different reliability. 'Cockers/'Mags outperform the others any day, and it is worth it to upgrade to one of them. Whether you choose 'Cocker or 'Mag is up to you, though.

tl-x would be the better choice.. Because it come's with an expansion chamber. Which you can put a regulator on it. I think the way the victor is made, you have to buy extra part's to put a exp chamber/regulator on it.

And also, the tl-x has a newer body style. So if you get one, get the tl-x.

Why would you assume that? Most new players don't know what the hell an automag is..same with an autococker.

To answer your question, no, not all mechanical guns are the same. Take a Spyder Victor and a stock 2k4 WGP VF autococker...they are two completely different guns and operate differently, but they are both mechanical.

If you are planning on getting an Xtra or a TLX...just save a little more and get an Imagine.

you could get animations of diff. mech markers (sticky in paintball chat i think...) and compare how they work.

Good question. I dont really classify a spyder as a mech. Yes, I know it is, but i consider it a "beginner" marker. And if he know's the termonology "mech" i figured he know's a little bit about paintball. So i just went to the upper class mech's.

well i've only played a few times and i own a "mech" its not a "begginner"marker. i dunno what you YOURSELF classifies as a begginer or a mech gun though. or how you get the knowledge of knowing what a mech marker is.

My mag is invincible. Literally. I've dropped it in mud and played after, I've put it in the dishwasher after a day of play, there are no noids to blow, no regs to adjust (except for the velocity adjuster on the valve), no batteries (usually), no nothing.
