ok i have yet another Noob question. how come the new empire electric hopper is so expensive. and why are some electric hoppers so cheap.

the empire b or halo w/ rip drive are the best hoppers out right now

some people use ramp and some hoppers like the egg say they feed about 22 with z/board but infact they only feed about 15-17

No people cant shoot that fast.... but if your into speedball you want the fastest hopper available. For the prices... cheaper loaders feed at slower rates... example... Odyssey Halo tsa LCD... at $55 feed 14-15 bps...

It feeds very fast and is the best on the market except maybe the new vloader or whatever it is.

it only feeds 25bps for a short time like when the hopper is full but after the first second or so it becomes slower because gravity on the balls and other factors dont make it feed 25 bps forever

if tourny games are usually capped at 15.. whats the point of a halo or a reloader.. an egg will be fine because it feeds 15-17 bps

Because a Halo is truly force fed. There is down pressure on the stack, virtually eliminating chops. An egg just pushes the paint into the neck then stops pushing. And besides, if you do break that 15bps cap, you want a hopper that can keep up.

i feel the egg puts too much weight towards the back of the gun. so i prefer the haloB or a reloader B just so the marker is more balanced

yea you dont need 25 bps but hopppers arnt that consistant so if you get the egg which says they do like 15-17 i forget but it wont always feed that fast. like my friend has a egg and it might do like 14 for a couple seconds then it drops to like 12, but if you have a halo you never have to worry about the hopper not feeding 15 during a tourney

guns don't need dropforwards.....acually the majority of paintballers don't have them on their guns..some ppl liek the tank at a different angle or position so they put a dropforward on there to lower the tank...

i personally don't like them bc they give u a taller profile....

^Keep it that way. The put your arms in an awkward position, and make your profile a billion inches taller. The only way your hand would not be in an awkward position w/ a drop, would be if you hade a Y/Z-Grip.

so the drop forward just brings the tank forward or changes its angle.

hmmm my friend suggested i get a drop when i get my gun because he said you had to reach ur arms out to hold it if you didnt have one....
