How do u adjust the velocity of a spyder xtra?There is this thing in the back and it wont turn right or left.Do i have to turn that little spring in it?

The wheel on the back adjusts your velocity, you should have a small allen wrench screw in it, this is for stopping the adjuster so you can lock it in place. Turn the wheel counter clockwise to lower your velocity, clockwise to raise the velocity, adjust your marker using a chronograph, set it for 280fps, or what your local field requires. Most shops and fields have a chronograph and will either set the marker for you...or let you do it yourself.

i still cant get it....i have it opened and everything.its in my hand.can some one guide me through it.it wont turn clockwise or counter clockwise.it moves a little bit but thats it

turn the little allen wrench. that will unlock it. then see lok's post

i dont see the allen wrench screw.i see a spring on the outside

yeah you don't have to take anything apart to adjust your velocity...just loosen the allen screw and turn clockwise....you shouldn't be looking at any springs
