clean it out when you chop balls, especially the chamber area.. you may not be able to get it PERFECTLY clean, but just get it as clean as possible, then lube all the o-rings, and a drop of oil on the bolt, and i usually put a drop of oil on the hammer, smear it around, re-assemble, and you're good to go! (make sure you clean out the feedneck also if some paint happens to fly up into there when you chop)
