Such as this, ollie lang could kick my arse if we both uses dm5's. But give me a dm5 and him a talon, I would kick his butt. Now about the guy using a talon to beat an ion and trix user, they must be complete noobs.

I would say the gun helps alot though because you need the accuracy to acually shoot your opponent. You also need the skill to hold up the gun and aim and hit them along with moving up. The gun is important but not as important as your skill. If it can shoot straight, efficient, and fast it should not matter. (Sometimes people dont even mind having the extra speed)

you'd be suprised, some pump users are rediculously good. i'd wager that some of the better stock players could beat alot of mid-level semi guys.

i'd say prolly 80-20 or so. a fast car doesn't win the race as they say.

That's true, but somebody that does not use a pump often, such as ollie, wouldnt be as good as the other all time pumpers.

Using a pump can really help your game. You learn that just spraying paint all over the place isn't the best thing to do. Makes you play smarter. I will be playing with a pump quite a bit this summer for 2 reasons. 1. Save money on paint and air because I am saving for a car and 2. It will help my game.

Player 65% Gear 35%... Without that expensive barrel system you won't be accurate. Without that expensive paint you won't hit. Without that expensive gun you won't fire fast. Without that expensive hopper you won't fire fast. Without those nice goggles you can't see..

if the player sucks, the gun definitely doesnt help. Its common sense. How good do you think somebodys gonna do cowering behind a bunker, even if they have a 1000 dollar gun?
