It depends on the gun. Any gun will be fine with a High Pressure tank, however some low-pressure guns (IE: Vikings) benefit from a lower pressure tank as it's less work for the High Pressure Reg to do therefore more consistant.
If you have any question about what you need, go with a high pressure tank.
As for the price, the more expensive bottles are fiber wrapped and therefore much lighter where as the cheaper bottles are usually aluminum and are heavier (They also only hold around 3000psi compared to 4500-5000psi for fiber wrapped).
Be sure to consider size as well - 45ci, 68ci, 70ci Stubby, etc.
