Finally got it!
I finally went and picked up my gun today.
Spyder Rodeo, used mask, 9oz CO2, 200 shot hopper, 200 paintballs and a thread saver for $209
Only thing i am planning on at this point is upgrading to HPA a little later on once i get an idea as to how often i will be going and once i really get used to my gun.
PS: Attatchment limit settings are retarded. 550? What camera takes less than 640??

He meant get an ESP frame witha T-board. I wouldn't, eventually you will want a new gun and putting 200$ into it to raise the re-sale value by like 20$ isn't gonna do much.

if u have the money go for it cuz the ESP frame and t board will basicly make it an entirely different gun

Or you can just buy an entirely different gun....
I wouldn't up the spyder very much. If you get an ESP frame, you will want to get an electronic hopper as well. Just play with it for a while and when you start to get better, start saving up for a better gun (something non-blowback).

I just bought a Black Rodeo last week....its really good. I used to have a Victor II and it was a good newbie gun but i wanted somethin that looked a little more higher-end and with some better parts. I strongly suggest getting an aftermarket barrel! I have a J&J 14" ceramic barrel and it quiets it down alot...it gives it a nice soft thungh sound (the CMI line of barrels are good to my friend has one for his Victor II---lol he is like my twin)....i'm going to buy an electric trigger frame and an electric hopper on down the road when i get the money.
well glad that you got this gun cuz it performs as good as it looks!

as far as e-guns go, I'm really not that interested in them. Working with electronics all day, I can see solenoids and switches going out in no time. Just more expense than what i want.
i'm not even sure how often i'm going to be playing either. won't do me much good to dump money into a gun i may not use.

No not 1337...he isn't a mag person.
Alpha and Medic are the only 2 people one this forum that know a ton about mags and are on regularly.
Like martix said, if you don't want to get an electric gun, but want something fast in the future, get a mag for sure. There are a bunch of things you can do to mags to make them fast. One of my friends made a thread on the nation about mags and it was stickied...click HERE for the link.
I know a little about mags, but that's only from being around mark (friend who made that thread).

I believe Rouge is third person that knows alot about mags.
I know my deal of information about mags, if you have any questions feel free to pm me.
As for the spyder, get a new barrel (like a j and j), an electric hopper (which you'll need if you decide to buy a newer style mag or any mid or high end electro gun), and a nitro tank (which you can use on any gun you wish). You may also wish to buy a thermal lense mask. Thermal masks wont fog. Remember, not anti-fog treated, you want thermal. I would suggest that you do NOT go cheap on your hopper, mask, or nitro tank.
Barrel- spyder threaded J and J ceramic 14"
Hopper- Halo B with rip drive, Empire reloader B, or the vlocity
Tank- Carbon fiber Cross fire 68 cubic inch 4500 psi tank
Mask- V-force profiler, Dye invision I3, or vents.
Then when you eventually outgrow your spyder, you can pick up a new marker and be totally ready for it with your hopper and nitro tank.
Trust me, you dont want to upgrade your spyder much at all. Dont bother getting a new valve, e frame, t board, trigger, blah blah, no matter what you do to it, it wont perform as well as a highend marker. Spyders are great for begginers, but dont go off wasting money and trying to make the ultrimate spyder or something. Trust me, i've been there before.
