any advantage too having an ....

electric marker(E99, Imagine) vs. a semi auto(rodeo, autococker) if you are only allowed to use semi-auto settings at the field?

Electronics have lighter trigger pulls since all your doing is activating a switch, so it's easier to shoot faster.

electric markers just have fireing modes and can get higher rates of fire and higher end electric markers have ramping

Mech=Physically using the trigger to move parts to fire the marker=Longer, heavier pull.
Electro=Telling a switch to tell the parts to move=Shorter, lighter pull.
Electropneumatic (Solenoid actuated)=Even lighter and shorter again, with super light microswitches and better electronics.

exactly...the only difference is whether your hand if physically doing the work
