that may be so. However though the wrath aftermarket though a little smaller in comparision the gun still has upgrades for all of it's major parts. eyes, board, ram, valve, feednecks.
So I would look at getting a used tank off ebay or pbn (make sure it is in hydro) Also I think a 68/3000 carbon fiber tank would go for cheap and give you a nice number of shots. Then I'd look for a used wrath or ion for cheap.

I would just go with an Ion. I had 3 Wraths in less than a month and each one had a solenoid problem. I have an Ion now,it shoots just as good as the Wrath.

I just went to the shop today.
I shot an Ion, Spyder Elektra and Autococker.
I liked the Ions speed but the plastic body and magnetic trigger. Nah.
The autococker i didn;t like. I hate mech guns and i didn;t like its feel.
Then I shot the Elektra. Love its speed and it feels right.
It costs 280$.
I need a Nitro tank - 65$
Electro hopper(don;t have 1) - 60$
im gettin a new jersey mine ripped- 55$

You don't need HPA for an electra. But it's a great investment to have.

If the Electra is 280 and the ION is 285.
Get the ION, you'll love it soooo much more.

OK but the Ion is all plastic..pretty much
does it break easy??
if I don't need Nitro for Elektra will it still work as good or will I need anti-syphon. I have emough for Nitro anyway.
Why is Ion better??
The Elektra is faster. but a bit heavier.
I don't know I need soe more input from yall.
I have until Sunday afternoon or Monday afternoon.

ok the ions outer body is plastic the reg cover is plastic and all grips are plastic. thats all. not really completely made out of plastic. the ion has eyes, and all the elektra has is the acs bolt, which is ok, but not completley dependable. the elektra isnt legal in most tourneys because of the rocking trigger frame. you take it out and use a legal one and you pretty much have a spyder imagine (if you can do that, im pretty sure you can). walking a rocking trigger is different from a regular trigger so once you get used to the rocking one i guess walking normal triggers would be akward

The ion isn't a blowback. Only the outer shell is plastic, and its decent quality plastic at that. Its not like the internals are plastic or anything. You can remove the trigger magnets also.

the ion isnt a stacked tube like the elektra. It has better quality parts and I believe its lighter and if you are spending 60 on a hopper im guessin its probably and empire2 or sumthin so you will only be able to shoot as fast as fast as your loader is feeding anyways. But any expirenced player will take the ion over the elektra. But have you looked into the promasters little bit more cash but a great gun.
oh yeah and yea and the ion doesnt brake easily.

The ION is extremely reliable, and only the body shell, reg cover, and grips are plastic(all grips are plastic btw). No blowback will be able to compete with a electro, period.
