i have two 20 oz pure energy co2 tanks and whenever i go to unscrew them co2 goes everywhere! my friend says theres a way to stick like a paper clip in that square thing on nozzle of your tank to temporairly turn it off. Is this possible?

does it spray out then stop after a second or 2? or after u take it off? Cuz if thats the case its normal. but if it continues to spray everywhere its not.

well it sprays then stops when it comes out but it sprays a ton! because my pilot has a long thread before the pin hits the tank. So i was wondering if you could stick a paper clip in that hole in the square thing on the nozzle to turn it off or something.

It's normal, there is nothing you can do about it.

That square thing by the nozzle is your burst disk assembly, by the way. If you put a paper clip through it, you risk breaking that vital piece and pretty much rendering your tank useless until you can get an airsmith to replace it for half the cost of your tank.

Edit: By the way, if your grandpa is really the CEO of Sony as your sig says, tell him that the customer support for every sony product I've ever owned sucks total nuts.

whenever u take the tank off, pull the trigger and turn the tank off at the same time

it's just spraying the excess CO2 that is already in your gun. and releasing the lil' bit when your pin-valve is still pushed in, but the ASA doesn't have an air-tight seal on your tank.

I also agree with Pizza. Tell your grandfather, sony sucks at taking care of customers.

Sony support sucks, as did their handhelds. I bought one (90 day warrenty) and I **** you not, on the 93rd day the screen went out and they were gonna charge me $400 to fix it.

The mobo on my Sony Vaio burnt out 6 days after the warranty expired. They charged me $200 to have a replacement sent, AND THE REPLACEMENT DID NOT WORK EITHER!
