hey im new and me and my friends don't do any sports but we want something to do. so we decided paintball. anyways i was wondering what kind of gun i should buy. i want one thats u kno not really expensive but still has power and range. im not serious about paintball yet because i haven't played it so i just want a good cheap gun with power no little squirt gun.

go to your field and rent some stuff
you dont want to waste 100 dollars
on a sport you dont like

well just get a spyder Xtra and a playing kit that comes with CO2 and a mask and all that good stuff
and if you really like it
get an Ion after you learn how to keep the maintnence up on your Spyder

yes but its shooting people and not killing them and like running thru woods and hiding and its really fun

Yeah look at spyders and learn somethings about paintball to. Don't be the idiot with a paintball gun at your local field.

There are a lot of differences between paintball n' war. I know your new, so, don't refer to paintballs as "ammo". Always wear a mask when playing, never take it off while a game is taking place. Keep your velocity under 300fps. Use common sense, if your gonna do something with your pballgun, if you think you could possible hurt someone or something or get in trouble, don't do it.
Have fun, back to your question. go with a spyder players kit of some kind. They are very simple to use, n' simple to maintain an' fix. As you get more into tha sport, you upgrade to better equip.

lol "War" well anyways im guessing your going to play woodsball because you said earlier that you like running around in the woods. So i would go wit sumtin durable. Id get a tippman. Probably a 98 c then later on you can upgrade the gun alot. and like sum1 said b4 get a player pack wit the hopper mask co2 ect.

would this mask be good? http://www.xpaintball.com/vforargog.html it says it has anti fog which sounds good cause i remember when i played my goggle fogged up alot. o yea and should i get a 20 oz co2 bottle if i can cause its not that much more expensive then the 16 oz.

those r good for the price but they will still fog in harsh temperatures. Like if your playing in the winter when theres snow on the ground they will fog or if its like mad hot out they will fog. But for normal temperatures there fine.

well i live in pennslyvania so it doesn't get too hot in the summer. i think they will be fine untill i get real serious. now all i got to do is find a place i can to around where i live

spyder x-tra, 12oz co2 tank to start off with...and mask. you could get everything in a starter kit somewhere online or at your local sporting goods store.
