Bringing electro gun and hopper in the rain?
Hi, me and some guys will be going to a scenario game in about a week, and it's supposed to rain that day of course we're going anyway, but i was wondering if my b2k and apache hopper will be okay in the rain; i've never brought it in the rain and it just occured to me that that might be a prob. would jimmying up a cover for them somehow make it any better if it will in fact hurt them?

I've got a cheap Piranha mech as my back up gun. If it rain I just pull out the old trusty Piranha. Accually one time I accidently feel down in water about knee deep with my Piranha. I just stood up and kept firing, untill I got hit a couple seconds later. Mechs are tuff. I wouldn't do somthing like that with my E-trigger gun.

Duct tape the seals around the board and battery door, and you should be perfectly fine.

Never had any gun troubles in the rain. I had some hopper troubles once or twice, but I started taping up the line in the shells where they divide, especially around the board and battery areas, and I haven't had any trouble after that.

I have never had any problems out of my 2K2 Intimidator or my RL Intimidator while balling in the rain.
