ACT Tippmann Question

I know the 98 Custom Pro comes with the Anti-Chop Technology thing. But can I get it installed on the regular 98 Custom? If so where can i buy this. And please fill me in on any other stuff like it etc.

Thanks a bunch

I'd reccomend against it. While you may think its worth it now because you have the $$$, and because you think its a upgrade, its really not worth it. A little on down the line you'll be regretting upgrading, when you can buy a marker that has eyes, doesnt chop, and shoots faster and smoother then a tippmann.

I cant answer your question about the anti-chop bolt.

I agree with Alpha, dont waste the money now its not worth it. Yeah you might save a few but it will not add up to the money youve spent on the upgrade.

Thanks alot for the quick response time .

This is kind of off topic but I might as well ask.....

I have a Diablo Mongoose with eyes and LCD all stock....and a friend gave me a Tippmann with RT, upgraded barrell, and double trigger. Now I really don't play that much maybe once every other weekend. Which gun should I be using. I was thinking I could use the Tippmann and I could buy upgrades for it as I get money for it and so on.

If you could recommend which one I should use and any other upgrades that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

for woods the 98c is prolly better, its darker (im assuming the mongoose isnt black here), so it blends in better. you wont need that extra stuff on it. although, because you already have a mongoose, then you could use that too. personal preferance i would say.

You can make your bolt anti-chop at home for only a little money.

I know nothing about Tippmanns anti-chop system, but the one you can make at home works well. It ends up with your bolt being pushed forward by a soft spring instead of the linking arm (linking arm still drags bolt back) so that if a ball is only half breeched the bolt stops instead of chopping thru it. So when you get a series of misfires you know you have a stuck ball.
