i want to start playing speedball please answer these questions
ok...i barley know anything at all.. i just know the basics and some of the bunkers. Yes, i already know how to play and everything. I still need some things answered though. Does this Field Finder have EVERY field ever? Because I live in Ohio, 3 mins away from WV and I looked at both states and it says there is no fields. And im pretty sure there is some in Huntington because my friend went there once with his church. Here is some questions, please help.
1. How much is a box of 500 paintballs at most fields?
2. Do most fields have days were you can just go there and pay to practice and stuff like that.
3. Is the Ion or a spyder Pilot a good newbie gun?
4. What happens if you shoot someone like 20 times and you dont know you were hitting them?
5. What size are most peoples barrels?
6. Do fields have games, or do you got to go to big tournaments to?
7. How many people are on a team?
thats all i can think of, if i remember one ill edit it...Thanks
please answer Im excited about speedball

1. How much is a box of 500 paintballs at most fields?
- Usually between 10 and 20 dollars.
2. Do most fields have days were you can just go there and pay to practice and stuff like that.
- Some do, research local fields and find out...
3. Is the Ion or a spyder Pilot a good newbie gun?
- Spyder Pilot, yes... Ion, no. With the Ion, you need HPA and an electric hopper.
4. What happens if you shoot someone like 20 times and you dont know you were hitting them?
- They usually get pissed off - but its part of the sport.
5. What size are most peoples barrels?
- 14" but they can range from 10"-21"
6. Do fields have games, or do you got to go to big tournaments to?
- Most of the time, you can show up and play, depending on how many people are there and how popular the field is... Just go to the fields and find out. Tournaments are for teams, not individual players.
7. How many people are on a team?
- It depends, 3-7 usually.

And if you shoot someone 20 times and they don't get up and out of the game, that's their fault, not yours.

After the game is over, you just go pick them up. If you don't, and remember that you left them later in the day, they will be gone.

All these questions can be answered if you just look around the site, but I'll indulge you.
Everything below is just a generalization, not hard fact. There are of course always exceptions.
Back players are usually larger, slower people. Back players' jobs are to lay down as much paint as possible and keep the other team in their bunkers while the fronts and mids make their moves. Since the back usually has the best view of the field, he also calls out positions of the opposing team.
Mid players are usually the best all around players. They must be fast and accurate. They make moves like front players and shoot like back players. Again they have a better view of the field than the fronts, so they call out positions.
Front players are usually small, fast guys. Their job is to make the far bunkers on the break. They shoot less than mids or backs and so usually do not carry as much paint. The ability to move and gunfight are most important for fronts.
Again, just basic thoughts here. I'm sure you'll find better, more detailed descriptions if you look around.

Ironcloud, you will need a team, which might take a while to join one or start one.

The best way to learn all of this is to just go to a field and get experience. After a couple days of playing you'll be pretty much familiar with everything. It's a pretty easy sport to learn.
