best gun for my situation? (spyder victor 2?)
im just getting into paintball and its time tobuy my first setup. I see the piranha listed on the list of newbie guns but see its so cheap on xpaintball now...is it a good gun? my buddy just bought a tippman 98 custom pro to start but i dont have that kind of money...
so is it a good gun reliability wise? i dont want to hit the field the first day and have a dead gun...
edit: no longer about the piranha im trying to decide between the victor 2 or possible a tlx...i really dont want to go electric....any tips?

i can tell u about them (my field uses them as rentals). cheap, reliable. but as accurate as someone trying to throw darts while there hi and drunk at the same time. o and their as loud as hell! i tried to shoot one outside in my backyard and my nieghbors called the cops! u can buy it but its going to miserable trying to play with it.
i recomend a spider or a tippmann 98 custom. tippmann 98c will just about never stop working on unless u throw it in the fire or light a fire cracker on it. wait, that might not do anything either. theres tons of upgrades for any type of play u might get into. electric components for speedball, relistic looking gun parts and scopes/flashlights for scenario. as for woodsball it comes with durability and theres the flatline witch will work great for woods.
personally id save up the xtra cash and look for a tippmann 98c package with everything thing u need to get started. play safe and i hope u get into the sport! welcome to the forum!

Spyder Imagine is one of the best Spyders. Tlx is ok. 98c would be your best bet.

the inaccuracy of the R6 is easly fixed with a $20 barrel. Its a good gun. loudness shouldn't be a problem eaither way.

Get the imagine over the victor. There are no drawbacks to having an electric marker, and you will want it in the future. Also, don't buy a new bolt. Use that money and get an electric hopper.

you can shoot for a long time on one charge...if your gun dies at the field bring a few extra batteries...then charge your other one at home
