Ok well I have been playing for like a year now and we basically play every week out in the woods.. and I am the only one of my friends who is motivated about paintball and would like to try to get good and be sponsored and stuff. Everyone complains it cost to much money to play at a course and they say paint is to much.. I tell them well if you play there its accually competition and you can win stuff. But they refuse. Sooo I am thinking about going to the local course.. but what do I do there?? like is there some event I can enter??I have no team and don;t now anyone that goes there??

Go to the field and become a regular. You'll get to know more people who are serious about paintball and maybe you can find a new team that needs a player.

just go or call your local field about any up coming tournies and find out if any of the teams need an extra player.

But the course where I live only has one team.. Its not like a massive course.. its just a guys second job who runs the course.. I don;t know I would just feel weird stepping in and not knowing anyone and stuff...

dont be scared just go and see if you can make some friends with some people and try to get a team together

People at feilds are genrally nice and will help you out. The worst that would happen would be they help you out so try it out.
