typically n2 tanks have a preset pressure that they put out. Normally it is an output of 800psi (these tanks are called hp tanks, lp tanks output 500psi or less)

the gun itself has a regulator. You may be thinking of it as a foregrip. There is a setscrew that can be turned one way or another to change the pressure that the gun is actually running on. Your gauge on the gun will show this pressure.

you want to keep the pressure within what is recommended by the manuel so that you are shooting at the field's fps limit. Adjusting the regulator will change your fps.

^^ exactly. they are at a predetermined PSI it will say on the package what it is...

if you want to know the ball output on the diff. PSI's, check the sticky in airsystems.
