I geuss they are made for your hopper to fit your gun if it is to big.There are a few guns that you might want an elbow for, but most gun you don't need one.

for a spyder or spyder cloe you usualyl need a vertical evbow or a bent one, depending if your feedneck is straight or at a 45 degree angle.

I think it depends on what you have for a gun. Im pretty sure you need one if you have a tippmann

only use elbows if your gun manual says that u need one

How can you not have one on a 98 custom?? The elbow goes of from the side.. you need a elbow or else it wont work I've already tried before

a tippmann 98c does not need an elbow....yes the feedneck goes off to the side but it straightens out.....u own a 98c....u should no that it doesn't need an elbow

the picture is small but still, no elbow is used...98c's feedneck works fine w/o them

I was thinking the feedneck was the elbow.. I thought a feedneck and elbow was the same..my bad haha

On most spyders that do not have an upgraded feedneck, you will need an elbow. It depends on the gun. Get your gun, and if the hopper does not fit, then it means you need a elbow.

If the feedneck goes to the right or left at an angle without ever going straight up, then you need an elbow almost always, since I've never seen a hopper going 45* to the side lol
