Need help putting back together a Piranha R6

I'm new to paintball and I just bought a Piranha R6. I pulled the pin off the back of the gun and the black tube with spring and metal cylinder came out. I can't seem to put the metal cylinder back in. There seems to be a metal piece on the bottem that is blocking it from going all the way in. I bought the display model so it didn't come with any manuals or accesories. But it did come with a Viewloader Revolution with X-Board that was on it.
Thanks for any help.

im pretty sure that when u push those back in you need to pull the trigger at the same time. at least thats how it works on my spyder

the heavy metal peice is called your hammer... the hammer is fired by the sear (the metal piece on the bottom that is blocking it from going all the way in...) either pull the trigger and push it in at the same time, or use a q-tip or some other skinny utensil and push the sear down while you insert the hammer... otherwise yyou can insert the hammer with the trigger frame completely off if you'd like.. then put the trigger frame back on when you get the hammer in correctly.

Pulling the trigger should do the job.

yup they got it covered. just pull the trigger, and shove it it til it clicks. make sure everything goes back in in the right order. look up a diagram online if youre not sure.

on my PMI evo there is also a thing called the sear release, im not sure if the R6 has one but it essentially does the same thing as pulling the trigger in this situation. i suggest you learn how the sear works to your gun, its not a difficult concept and im sure there are places all over the internet, and im pretty sure its in the PMI manual too. once you figure out the sear it makes the rest of the gun a lot easier to figure out.

good luck.

Yea, My Piranha Also has that sear release switch. You have to push that on my gun instead of the trigger. Look in your owners manual on the "maintainace" section its in there.

Did it have the switch or did you only have to pull the trigger?
