co2 or nitrogen?

how do i tell if a gun runs on nitrogen or co2? I have heard co2 guns are way worse. What is the price range for guns that run on nitrogen? What is a good gun with the price between $100-$200? Thanks

if the gun has a selinoid it needs nitrogen. Co2 guns can run nitrogen with no problems.

Yea, if its a C02 gun it can also run Nitro no problem other then you might have to ajust your volocity screw to a different place. Most guns that are above $200 require nitro. The only ones that don't are the Tippmann A-5 and some or the upgraded 98's along waith a few of the higher end spyder guns.

Good guns in that price range include

Nitro Guns:
Ion
RPM

C02 Guns:
Tippmann 98c with E-grip
Piranha EVO
Vexor Eye
US*5

With the Ion price drop there is no way I'd pay over $150 for a stock used Ion. Check the bay..

If the marker has a solenoid, use a HP or LP tank.

Though you can use LP I'm just going to say use HP (crossfire make great tanks) and not go into it as I'm feeling a bit lazy now. Go and get yourself the pro pakage? i htink its called. not realy all htat pro, but it does fix some almost all of the regular IONs downsides. still nto great, but the best deal for the $ out thier right now. That is unless you can get a deal on one somewere else.
