advnatages of electric gun?
ok so im just starting out (check my other thread farther down the page). so what is so good about an electric gun?
im stuck between a spyder victor 2 or the imagine. Yeah i know your all gonna say get a tipmann but im trying to spend little money and i wont be playing much so i dont need a tank of a gun.
ill be playing mostly woodsball with occasional speedball, and some more field type organized stuff (rarely tho)
so i was leaning towards semi auto...but ppl keep saying electric...can you anyone clear this up for me?

get the electric. you will be able to shoot a lot faster with the electro, and trust me, compared to the mech victor, youll love it. the trigger pull is also a lot easier.

I've never once had my battery run out on me, and I shoot just under a case a day with my piranha.

Just always remember to charge your gun overnight before a day of balling, and keep an extra battery in your gearbag, and youll be set.

well i read some reviews and found that it seems like with just astock hopper the imagine likes to jam alot anf not feed right since it fires too quickly...so given i dont have the cash to get a good electronic hopper anytime soon is this gun still worth it?

yeah, the hopper not feeding fast enough is always an issue. since the imagine doesnt have eyes, that could be a problem.

yeah get the imagine, even though I dont like the imagine it is better than the victor 2. You can shoot much faster. Get a electro hopper or if you dont shoot really slow because the imagine chops even with the acs.

the stock batt blows to say the least. The Imagine would be a nice starter gun for you. I would also suggest getting a Revvy as your hopper. you can find them realitively cheap if you look around and they can feed at about 13bps max. if your still chopping i would suggest legthening your trigger pull to help you shoot slower untill you can afford a faster loader. Dont forget you will need CO2 (or HPA but it looks like your on a tight budget) and a deacent mask. Look into the Proto EL for a mask, its cheap and comfy. not the greatest, but much better than the box sets can you can find the imagine in. they are trash and you WILL replace everything in it before the end of the season, which is a waste considering you could just have goeetn better stuff to begin with.
