But yes, HPA and a good hopper are two things i actualy suggest people get prior to upgradin to a better gun. It's one of those hidden costs than can impede your ability to use a new gun and to play, if yo dont have the $$ to get them.

ok, here is my question and problem. i live near Yosemite National Park in CA and the only tank refill station i can find are CO2. It is a welding supply place and they cannot fill HPA tanks. i would have to drive to modesto to find a paintball shop and/or Scuba shop capable of filling HPA. My first question is this, if i am useing an air efficient gun (like a psyder vs3 or Ion running at 200psi operating)what is a rough estamate of shots i will get from say a 68/4500 tank? i am asking because if i need to have more than one tank (at $100-$150 a tank) just to make it through a day it isnt worth it. i can currently run about 1500-2000 shots on a fresh 20oz CO2 tank. My second question is how much are the average charges you see for filling HPA tanks? i know there are fields in CA that the air is free with your field fees but CO2 cost. I understand why, co2 is a product to purchase, HPA is more of a service if they have a compressor. thanks a lot for taking time to help us noobs.

impulses will work well with CO2, the AKA guns , ions, and several other could be made to run on CO2 with A/S and a palmer regulator.
