Promaster, Impulse, or an ion. There's more but I just named a few off the top of my head. If you're willing to buy used you could get a Shocker, Timmy, Nerve, DM4, or something else.

/\/\ You would, but he could be getting a much better marker for that price range. So long as he isn't afraid to buy used that is.

you just got an a5 right? my honest advice to you is just to wait it out a little before you buy an ion; unless you can still return the a5. im not the greatest player (far from it i just started) but i went out today with my ion and got my ass kicked in a few rounds of speedball by woodsballers with a5s. so dont think you can't play speedball with an a5, because you still can.
i would go with an ion if you do decide, but my honest advice is to keep playing with what you got (again, unless you can still return it) and get good with that; then when you get a new gun get a high end and youll rip.

Yeah, your best bet is probably to start with a low end and learn the basics. You know, good form, snap shooting, and all that other funs stuff. That way when you get a high end marker you won't have to rely on the noobish, spray-and-pray method.
Once again, he could get a much better marker than an ion if he buys used.

His price range was 200-300, all of these, except for some timmys, are higher than 300 dollars used.

Just the marker, you could easily buy an ion. But just keep the a5 you have and use your money to play

A lot of people are going to say Ion and I agree. It's light, fast, and pretty tough, and decently easy to maintain. For under $200?!? No brainer.
My second choice would be a ICD Bushy or Promaster.

I have seen all of these for sale for less than $300 each USED. Read the post correctly before you try to criticize me.

I would love to see a link for a used WORKING dm4 for under 300. DM4s go for ~400, 350 at the LOWEST. Please, supply me evidence that all of those guns go for 300 used, besides the timmy, none of them do.
And yes, I read your post correctly ****head.

but remember, wehn you get the ion, you also need to get hpa and a good hopper
so that could be well over 200

the piranha is a stbb just like a spyder. its probably good for what it its, but not on the level with these guns.
Home skillet, ive seen blind dm4's and lcd angels going for 300$. Almost all those guns can be had in older models. Try not to show your immaturity by calling people ****heads ...
