e marker
I have decided not to put more money in to my xtra but get an e marker. ION seems to be the most popular choice. I still want to explore my options. Does any one use an Electra or an 06 Electra ? This marker has really caught my eye and I would appriciate any feed back on it.

They are overpriced.
Get an Ion.
You will need an HPA tank and a Reloader B.

the elctra is identical to every other spyder, including your xtra. It has an e-grip, and possibly eye(dont remember).
An ion, or any of the used timmy/matrix/angel/e-mag etc ilk will be ten time better. The elctra would be a 200+ dollar gun for a 40 dollar bolt on upgrade...

The ion and electra are on two different levels. Ions keep up with $500-1000 markers, while electras perform just as well as your xtra. Get and Ion.

I'm not sure a stock ion could keep up with a $1000 marker, but with a few simple upgrades it would get pretty damn close.
Go for the ion.

As much as I hate the stupid kids who brag about their ions and think they are the ****... with a $200 gun with >$200 worth of upgrades... The gun will shoot just as fast... Thanks to PSP rule changes

I think you should go with the Ion they are very upgradeable, cheap low starting cost ($199) and are pretty good markers.

Please don't listen to this guy. An e-rex is a blind blowback, just like your xtra. Go with an Ion, wrath (only if you can get it for under $140) or anything by icd with pds. If you want to go used, you might be able to get an older timmy if you look hard enough, or maybe an old trix.

go with the ion and make sure to get an hpa tank preferably fiber wrapped because if you dont you will want it later. you will also need a high quality hopper such as a halo or reloader b.
