Wrath LTD reg is cold

Just got a wrath ltd yesterday upgraded from a spyder. Anyways i screwed my air on and fired it a bit w/out paint. the reg got really cold as well as the tank. Is it a problem w/ my gun or tank maybe??

You really shouldn't be shooting co2 through it. Its not too bad since its a wrath, but in the long run you'll get much better performance, fewer problems, and less mantainance if you just go ahead and buy a cheap hpa tank now. You can get a steel one for about $50 off any of the forums. For now, your reg will always be cold, and you will get shootdown, because you are using co2. Shootdown is when you starts shooting quickly, and the co2 doesn't have time to expand into a gas, making your reg and internals cold, and causing a sudden drop in velocity.

yup co2 is going to screw your gun up in the long run man. you can get a 48/3000 steel tank from action village for $60

compressed air is still cold. it's a physics thing. when you compress anything and then releaze itit's going to be at least a little bit cold.

when fired rapidly HPA can also get very cold. It's normal and has no bad affect.

so if ur using co2 get a cheap steel tank like i did :P and if ur using hpa dont worry bout it just dont put ur tongue on it :P
