Co2 or HPA
Hey i have just bought a Piranha E-force EXT Pro that has a ultra light barrel and a blade trigger. I got an electric hopper its a richochet (sp?) too. But im not sure what kinda tank to get. I was thinking of getting an HPA tank for it, but their expensive. Or getting Co2. Iv heard of something for the Co2 set-up that doesent let the gas build up in the gun but dont remeber what its called right now.
So what would be the better option?

Just use CO2 for now. CO2 on a low-end marker like your Piranha is fine.
Upgrade to HPA when you upgrade to a new marker, like an Ion, or better.

Yes, but it would mean a lot more if you were running the anti'd CO2 on an electro pneumatic marker like an Ion. This is because they have solenoids, and the CO2 actually enters this solenoid, which is electronic. The anti-siphon helps with reduceing liquid CO2, which would easily damage a solenoid. But yes, it still makes a difference on a low end marker like your Piranha. More consistentcy, won't sweat as much, etc. So yes, get the CO2 anti-siphoned. It will do good on your Piranha, but like I said, once you get an electro pneumatic marker in the future, upgrade to HPA.

HPA is always a good upgrade as it is more consistent and better for your gun, but any kind of Co2 will work with your piranaha. If you get more into paintball and start playing tourneys that is when you will need to get HPA because you will want to get an EP gun, and the most popular mid-end EP gun is of course the ion.

if you plan on getting more serious later and upgrading to a higher end gun just get the hpa now. if you plan on sticking with the fish there is no need for hpa

I had Co2 and I switched to HPA that was probably one of the best upgrades I ever made in paintball. The air was a lot more consistent, and gave a much straiter shot and reading, my tank also stopped freezing up with my A5.
I know HPA tanks are expensive I got a 47/3000 Crossfire HP tank and it was very good it was only $60-$70 so a tank like that might be worth getting.
