air source

i have a 48/3000 psi air tank. i think the company that manufactured it was pure energy. i wanted to know if a low quality air source like mine (only cost about 60 bux) compared to a high quality air source like a crossfire tank would perform differently. for example,on my ion, will my PE tank have good enough airflow to sustain like 13 bpps on full auto or semi auto or will the airflow be fine. basically can i use a not so great airsource on a good gun or do some guns have bad or good flow that can or cannot sustain a constant and steady supply of air?

well ion full auto is capped at 10bps anyway. the PE tanks are pretty good, even the low end ones in my experience, they are just really heavy. you should have no problem with air flow on that tank, i wouldnt worry about it. its not a bad airsource, just a heavy one.

most high pressure output tanks flow significantly more air than could ever be used by the gun.

yeah I've got the same one you have, and it works fine with my ion on 20bps ramping.
