has anyone used this gun.if so how do u like it.also how does it work off co2 cause i heard it works real good off it but i just want to make sure before i buy it and use co2.thanks

ive just looked it up and i wouldnt use C02 with it. i wouldnt trust the filtering system. and u can just get and ion for a little bit more and u can get cheap compressed air tanks for 50 bux. and ions r more upgradeable.

hmm, i'd just go with what Huntin said and get an ion. it is a better gun and still in the same price range

xtremepaintball says that it'll work on CO2.

But, I don't know if that's a blow-back design or if there's a 'noid and ram in there. If its a blowback I wouldn't think twice about CO2, because there's not really anything to break.

Of course it would probably do better with HPA either way.

Edit- I'm nearly sure that it's a blowback and will be fine with CO2.

Protium isn't bad, my friend just picked one up and he likes it. It isn't the top of the line, but I'd say its a decent mid or a very high low end marker.

yes but for a little more cash u can get an ion... and stock ions can be used to play in small local tournies.

Why wouldn't you be able to enter a tourney with a stock Protium? with a 15bps cap I don't see much disadvantage other than size and weight. But yes, I think the Ion would be better.

a stock ion would make u more competive with other players. atleast where i live cuz most people use ions to egos in the tournies. all u would need for the ion to be beastly is a blackheart board. and a stock protium only has semi. i'd like to see u keep up a constant 15 bps. and stock ion has ramping that u can change to cap to 15.

Yea, just get an ion.They are so customizable you can really make them one of a kind.And like Huntin Dawg says, they are better competitors.With the right upgrades you can rip with an ion.Out of the box they are pretty sweet.So my pick is ion and now that they have the new bodies for them you can catch peoples eyes while laying down the paint.

My fault, I'm no expert on the Protium, I didn't realize it only had semi. So yeah, you should probably just go with an ion.
