Well, this is going to be my 3rd gun since I first sold my Imagine, then I handed down my e-grip autococker to my brother. Now, I'm looking for a whole new set up. I was looking at a Dye DM6 but, I wasn't sure if the gun is worth the money or not. I haven't followed paintball for a while. I really don't have a limit when it comes down to this, I'm basically looking for a high-end, fast shooting, reliable marker. Also, what air system and gun upgrades our worth getting for the gun?

Edit: I'm also looking for some googles that doesn't fog up. Since, it happens to almost to every mask I buy. Would a fan be recommended?

If you're going to go for broke and not worry about what it costs, you should base your opinion on what top-shelf gun you feel most comfortable with. All the high ends are pretty much fast shooting and reliable.

a fan in your goggles is a great idea to keep them from fogging. also anti-fog lenses. you must sweat profusely!

edit: are you selling your cocker?

Yeah, I sweat like a pig.
It's because I'm always breathing with my mouth.
As for the cocker, I sold the gun to my brother.

For an air system, basically anything but Crossfire, Dye, or Kingman should work just fine. Crossfires are actually pretty good, but their fill nipples sometimes don't work connect, and Dye tanks have flow issues. As for Kingman, I honestly don't know what is wrong with them, I just don't feel like trusting the makers of Spyders to keep my 4500psi tank from leaking/exploding.

As for upgrades, once you get above about $800 guns really don't need upgrades. They come with everything to perform great out of the box (except for a few exceptions that don't come with ASA's or something stupid).

Thanks for the info, I think I didn't read the entire thing on your post, because I thought it was just for entry model guns. I didn't see the rest.

I don't know what experience you've had with Dye DarkTamer, but my throttle is amazing. Second best reg I've used (next to maxflo micro). I'd stay away from kingman tanks as well, but there is no risk of them exploding (kingman doesn't actually manufacture the bottle, just the reg. If that.)

A lot of the Dye Throttles I've seen had shootdown issues. Perhaps they fixed this issue, I never heard anything new on them since I never really see anyone using them due to their bad rep.

Should I pony up the extra cash and get either a 06 cyborg, Dye DM6 or a Cyborg 06 instead?
Or should I just wait a few months and get a 07 Cyborg instead?
I'm really not in a huge hurry to get one.
As, I can use my bros autococker for a little while.

I like the 06 Proto, good gun, shoots great.

Also look into Egos, they are great guns as well.

Evil Minions are basically the same thing as 06 protos...little differences.

Someone is selling his E-Blazer with the following upgrades:
metal eyecover
lapco feedneck
locking knob for the barrel
one 12 nickel barrel, 1 12 inch and 14 inch stiffi barrel.
For 875 should I pull the trigger?

Huuge negatory. Unless you're a huge fan of of crazy old school gatillacs.

Your original two choices of PM6 and Quest were spot on. Go shoot both and make your decision, they're both awesome guns.

I'm down to the PM6 or the E-Blazer. I'm going to sleep on it and see which one I'm going to buy tomorrow.

i've never heard of a blazer, or is it a nickname for a gun? well off to pbreview i go!!!. oh and as for choices i'd get the pm6, light,slim to no kick,low profile, quiet,accurate,good consistency, the only thing you will need 2 buy is a new on-off cuz it leaks as you turn it from on to off and reverse. but there is the minion,as stated above same gun just diffrent milling.

EDIT: i've looked at the blazer and i think you would be more happier with a pm6
