A bunch of basic questions...

So, I just got done firing some paintballs into my backyard after getting a Spyder Pilot a few days ago. All I can say is WOW that thing is fast at firing...much better than the Tipman98 I used. So now that I have fired it off, I need some help with some things. Any help would be appreciated!

-How do I store my paintballs left over? How long will they be good for?

-Do I leave the Co2 tank on my gun? It still has plenty of air left.

-I chopped a few paintballs, should I take apart the gun and clean it out really well?

-Under the cleaning instructions that came with my gun, I noticed in all capital letters "DO NOT DRY FIRE". Can it be bad for my gun? I'm kind of confused...

-On the Co2 tank it says to only use Pure Energy O-rings. Do I have to, or are they just trying to get my money?

I'm pretty sure I got all of those questions, thanks for any help!

welcome to the forum.

you can just store the paintballs somewhere in your house but make sure that they are in rom temperature and not too hot or too cold. i use my closet in my room.

i would suggest taking the tank off your gun after each time you shoot. my friend used to leave the tank on his gun all the time and he had lots of leaking problems. then just screw it back on when you go to shoot again next time.

if you chopped, i would suggest cleaning it out asap because if you leave it, it may have problems next titme you go to shoot.

as for dry firing, ive never seen anything that said dont dry fire and ive been doing it to my guns since i got my first and nothings ever been broken due to dry firing. i doubt it will hurt the gun at all.

you can use any o-rings that are made for tanks. they are just trying to get your business

when you store paint, make sure you rotate it.

move the bag of paint each day to a different position so it doesn't get dimpled
