What should I do???

Ok, I just found out one of my friends owns a lot of land. 20 acres of land in the woods to be exact. We were all thinking about playing paintball in their. I was just wondering though, How will I do it?? I meen, I will have to go to a paintball store about 20 minutes away to get Co2. What happens when I am playing and I run out of CO2? Their is no way his parents are going to give me a ride to that shop every time my gun starts to run low on CO2. I was thinking about buying more than One CO2 bottle and filling it up. Then switch them when I run low. But what happens when I get HPA, I dont want to buy more than One of those things. So can sombody please help me.

If you have a 20oz C02 tank then you should definitely be good. You don't need to fill it more than once in one day unless you are just playing forever. A 20oz usually shoots around 1200 shots, and a 68ci/4500psi HPA tank will shoot around the same. If you want to be safe you could buy another C02 tank.

Thanks. I have a 20z CO2 tank. It just felt like at the paintball fields I had to refill it often.

When I played in the woods, I always had 3 filled tanks just to be safe. Two 20's and a 12.

I have a field set up at my house, and I used to have lots of people come over and paintball, and they would all run out of air. Ilive about 20 minutes away from the paintball store, and my parents did not want to drive all the way there just to fill a tank, so we just bought a c02 refill station. It is a 50 pound tank, and it cost $200. We did the math, and between charging $2.50 a refill, and saving gas money, the thing has actually saved us money, I would look into one of those. Also, my dad uses it for his mig welder.

Refer to the HPA Q&A. A scuba tank and fill station is about 150-200 dollars at MOST. that will fill an HPA tank many many times. CO2 bulk tanks are not expensive to rent, and if ya'll are going through a significant amount of CO2, i suggest pitching in for tank rental. Renting nitrogen tanks is another option.

I am Probably getting a HPA tank for Christmas. Are the refillers worth the $150-$200? and Are they portable. IF they are I could just put them in my dads truck, then when he takes me to my friends house we could Just play all day.

Also, When i go the Paintball Store to fill up my 3 CO2 tanks, will all I have to do after one runs out is to take it out and put a full one in??? Im sorta new to Paintball and CO2/HPA things.lol.
