Shorter The Barrel... Longer The Barrel?

Can some one tell me if the barrel is shorter, is it more accurate?

Or

And the longer the barrel is, is it more inaccurate?

Barrel

Depends. Id say the ideal barrel length is 14'. If you get to long it wont help you any, and you'll waste more air. Shorter brings you less. So overall go with a 14' barrel. Also if your using any tippmanns, dont buy the flatlines, because they wont help you any, they just give you distance, not accrucy.

Yeah I'd go with a 14" I use a 16" because free refills at the place I go to. But if you play with friends, I'd take a 14".

For the most part, the longer the more accurate up to about 16 inches. 16 inches is the absolute longest you want to go, after that, barrels just get in the way, and wadte air. I would personally go with 14 inches.

I'd get an 18 under certain conditions.

You can really push into inflated bunkers with one. I tend to do that a lot if I get put into playing back.

In the woods it might be nice to poke through / push aside little shrubs and junk.

I wouldn't, however, buy one hoping it would be more accurate. It might seem like that, but it's probably because the longer barrel gives the user more to 'sight' with. You know- It's easier to point a longer stick.

Wanna play tight up front. 12 inch

Wanna play off the bunker. 14-16 inch
