i just got into the sport casually and am looking to advance to a regular player. i have read a lot of reviews and posts on the JT tac-5 with mixed emotions about it. you have to understand i got the players kit for 25 bucks as a starter. i have played with it a bit (about 2500 balls so far) and havent found any real problems, yet. i want to know what BRAND upgrades can i use for it. i will buy a better gun real soon i just want to make this gun as good as possible for now.

to answer your question...i'd just use it honestly..then upgrade ASAP. i had 2 friends with the same marker first day after the first 5 shots it jammed and it was unusable. so learn from it, then upgrade to something else ( see gun review forum the sticky by darktamer for a great guide )

I have put over 3000 balls through my gun so far and only 2 chopped balls which i concluded must have been bad balls, the gun shot right through them. No broken parts yet (knock on wood) and the gun is accurate as i think a paintball gun should be, for having no ballistics or anything. i just want to put a 14 or 16 inch barrel on it and need to know what brand fits my gun.
