electronic guns have a shorter and softer trigger pull most of the time.

yes if you have the capability to switch back and forth you will be allowed on fields that are semi only.

the barrel on that looks cool and all, but anything over 14'' is just a waste. accuracy is pretty much maxed at 14, and all that long barrel is going to do is waste air. id say go for a stock A5 if you really want it, and then up it from there, starting with a barrel.

for a barrel, try an all american or a j&j ceramic. For a mask, if you want budget, i got the proto switch goggles. very comfortable, and the lens is easy to change.

so heres my setup, im thinking of getting this a-5 with a response trigger
Tippmann A-5 Paintball Gun with Response Trigger at Paintball-Online.com
then this
Proto Switch Goggle FS (Thermal) at Paintball-Online.com
then this 14"
Xtreme Paintball Guns, Equipment and Reviews--J & J Performance Ceramic Barrels

i dont know which or how big a air tank and i dont know what else i need, also on the mask it says its thermal and it says its got some sort of headset in it? dont know what those mean i kno wat a headset is but not like wat its used for.

and i hope this gun is automatic.

That barrel is going to be nothign but a cosmetic upgrade unless your willing to buy mutiple bore sizes. Save yoursefl the money and dont buy just "a barrel"........

that gun is not full auto, nor is it electric. Forget the A-5 and go with the basic '98. The a-5 is WAY overpriced for what it is. I beleive the '98 with e-frame is less than that gun, if not the same price. If your going to spend that much for a mechanical gun, look at an automag....

As far as a tank, get a basic 20'oz Co2 ank and have fun....

with the '98, youll need to find an e-hopper(i recommend a vl evolution III or a halo/reloader B). With the A-5, it uses that silly cyclone feed mess, so yould have to get an apropriate hopper.

**edit**

try 70$ less for an e-gripped '98 Tippmann 98 Custom ACT E Grip Paintball Gun - Black at ActionVillage.com : Paintball. Take the extra cash and pick up a used halo or egg.

with the double trigger on it, I would take it over the single trigger model. Don't add the flatline however....

yes it will have semi, burst, full auto, plus a couple of extra modes.

AS for an e-hopper, how much more do you have to spend?

a cheaper alternative would be this :e-Paintball.com :: Hoppers & Loaders :: VL Viewloader Loaders :: VL View Loader Evlution 3 Egg Evolution Loader
The better, but more expensive alternative is : e-Paintball.com :: Hoppers & Loaders :: Empire & Halo Loaders :: HALO B Loader

Theres also the VL vlocity, draxxus pulse loader, and empire reloader B. The above two are the most popular choices, just do your research.
