It would be difficult to transport it to where ever your playing at.
Besides, if you cant afford 25 cents an ounce, your gonna hate the cost of playing paintball over time.
Its expensive to buy into, and would take a a very long while to start saving money with it.

yeah, thats really not that much. A fill station is like $30 and you can get them on alot of online stores. Try google, its one thing alot of people overlook.

what size tank do you use? for a 20 oz tank it would cost 5 bucks, im pretty sure it would be cheaper to just stick with the 25c an oz, wouldn't you have to keep filling it up with co2 idk about you but I am oretty sure that will cost money,

well ive been lookin on ebay and found a brass eagle fill station with a dump filter for 50 dollars. The big CO2 tank isnt gonna cost to much because my dad is a machinist and works with welders so he gets the tanks at a discout. we already have on in our garage. all i need is the fill station. also forgot to mention this but this isnt for just me. its for about 9-10 20oz. tanks. so as you can see it would cost alot more just to fill up for 25cents when i can get a fill station

Fill station
My son and I both got Spyder xtras for Christmas. We have 3 9oz and 12oz tanks. The best deal in town is 3 bucks per tank. If a 50 lb CO2tank is used, you can refill close to 40 20oz tanks if you have a fill station and scale. I have been checking with compressed gas dealers for the best price. With a 100 dollar deposit, I can rent a 50lb (the weight of CO2 held in the cylinder) CO2 cylinder for 8 bucks a month. Refilling that cylinder or exchanging it would cost $18.75 each time. So if I can get some of my son's friends to let me refill their tanks for a fair deal, I should be able to at least break even. Working with high pressure cylinders isn't much of a stretch for me since I'm a Respiratory Therapist! If I can't find a digital scale at Wal-Mart, I'll get the scale and fill station from eBay.

If you plan on getting into this sport more, i wouldnt suggest buying it, b.c. you will be using nitrogen.
also flatlines arnt near 200 dollars and expansion chambers arnt that expensive either.

up hear in michigan the flatline and expansion chamber cost that much. dont go to Johnsons sporting goods. or Duhnams. they are expensive thats were i got them though. i dont plan on using nitro because its expensive and only johnsons fills nitro and its a 20 minute drive to get there from where i am so CO2 is cheaper
