well the ion is a performs great for its cost
and all the epiphany is, is an ion with the freak barrel, on/off, and a new body kit
so for 400$ i do not think the epiphany is all that great
you should look at the rail or mini imo

For the price, the ephiphany is not a good buy. The PMR and Mini will both out preform and are lighter than it. You would be better off buying an Ion for $200 less and speanding the extra $ on upgrades for it.
But if your looking in the $400ish price range the best guns out there are the Proto Rail (PMR) and the Invert Mini. Or of course something used, but that can be a gamble sometimes.

i would go with the rail. i've already heard horror stories about the mini, but my best friend shoots a rail and its awesome. throw another 200 dollars into an UL frame, and you have an amazing gun.

Defiant 2's can be found for 400 bucks, and when tuned properly, they're pretty decent.

You'd be better off buying a pm6 than. The PMR's biggest stregth is it's price. Putting a UL frame on it dosn't make a ton of sense.
