Spyder Pilot double fires?? How to prevent?

Hello,

first of all this forum is amaizing!! Had a couple of questions, and all of them have been replied immediately!! Really n1!!

My Spyder sometimes double-fires in semi mode....
Is it the ACS bolt, which causes this behaviour?

Does anyone else have this problem, and may know a solution??

Thx

the pilot is electric, yes? the trigger may be bouncing on the microswitch.

It could be this or it could be burping, this is when the gun cannot recock because it either does not blow back far enough or the sear is worn and the striker cannot catch on it. It is most likely the bouncing though, since your gun seems pretty new.

I have the same problem with my pilot acs. Do you think it could possibly be the cup seal? I heard that spyders often come with bad ones in. I have really no idea how to replace it either. I noticed that my red o-ring for my striker bolt is slightly loose, but i have not replaced it as of yet.

COnsider replacing the striker o-ring, if you have a faulty one, gas will escape around the striker when recocking, and that may cause occasional double firing and/or burping.
