Sound-activated hopper?
I read about the sound activated hopper, the Empire Reloaded. My first question is, if you cough, say something to your teammate, or somebody else shoots, does it load another ball?

no it isn't that sensitive to sound unless you are screaming at the top of your lungs and then some, the top usually filters outside noises when closed.

yea, i had it and i guess with my spyder, i liked it but i wouldnt have it with an fast gun becuase it doesnt load much faster than 14 im pretty sure 2: is made out of cheap plastic and paint breaks easily inside it 3: its waaaay too heavy. if your going to be spending plenty of money on PB, just get the halo or empire B. coughing wont set it off and neither will speaking. i know that another gun will not set it off, but it could be possible if there was another gun like an inch away shooting.

well they are both agitators so they have their ups and downs, up side is they are cheap and the down side is that they are agitators not force feeders, they still rely on gravity to get the ball into the breach, what kind of gun are you putting this on?? for the money if i had to decide between those 2 id go with the empire, the sound activation means it will feed faster, the ricochet has to wait till a ball falls down before it will react and agitate, basically the reaction time on the empire is faster, a lot faster, it will start agitating before a ball even starts falling into the breach.
Also you might wanto to look at the Halo tsa hopper, it is also a sound activated agitator but it also has tilt sensing, so if the hopper is leaning to the right the paddles will spin counter-clockwise to bring the paintballs over the feed neck and vice-versa if it is leaning to the left, you can get these for about $50 on ebay

well i cant find any site saying whay kind of bps it can do but it seems pretty similar to the pirahna e force i had a while back, it had a stacked tube blowback system and could shoot around 14bps, i had the halo tsa frontman on that and it worked pretty good, the only time i had a problem was when i had it on full auto and just kept the trigger down, even shooting at like 12bps in full auto it would eventually chop a ball or two, for the price range your looking at i would recomend the halo over the empire only because of the tilt sensing, check out ebay and see how mutch they want for each.

I have the empire reloader b. It is fast and only spins when u shoot or close the top. it doesnt spin when others around you are shooting.

Unlike what kenny_1491 says, you do not need to yell at the top of your lungs for the reloader b to load. The reloader b is a very good hopper.
I would chose one over just about any hopper with eyes.
Mine is pretty sensitive to sound.
Why would it matter if it tried to load another ball from some sound around you? All that would do is try to spin, but not go anywhere.

lets get one thing straight, we are talking about the empire reloader II ($60) not the empire reloader B ($100ish) dont ask me why they couldnt come up with names that were a little different. THe reloader 2 is an agitator and the reloader B is a force feeder, but a sound activated agitator on a stacked tube blowback marker isnt a bad match, they preform well together as long as you dont chop a ball
