Hpa??

What are the pros/cons of HPA? Also, is there a difference between Nitrogen and HPA?

HPA is compressed air. nitrogen in straight up nirtogen. There's no difference int eh performance of them.

HPA is more consistent than C02
HPA is cheaper than co2
HPA tanks are lighter then C02 tanks
but most of all, HPA isn't a liquid that can get inside your marker and ruin the solenoid.

Your forgeting that the HPA tanks are about 10x more expensive than the co2 tanks also. The individual fills are where HPA is cheaper.

10X huh? what about the 65$ tanks you can pick up from most local shops?

HPA is not THAT much more expensive than CO2.

lol ok if you want to use a $65 tank that you'll get only apx 500 shots out of it and is as heavy as about 2 co2 tanks. . . I personally think your better off using co2 than cheap steal HPA tank.

I'll repharse my statement:

If you want to get a HPA tank that dosn't suck you'll need to spend in the $150 range or so. C02 tank cost about $15 so thats 10x more.

iv shot both and i like HPA a lot more (even though my marker is LP) its way more consistant and i dont have to fill it quite as often, i wouldnt say quite 10X more expensive i got a used centerflag tank on ebay for just under $100 its a 68/4500 carbon fiber tank, you can get cheap HPA tanks but they are gunna be somthing like a 42/3000 steel tank, not worth it in my book.

theres no difference between a tank filled with air and one with pure nitrogen, 70% of air is nitrogen anyway,

basically the 2 biggest advantages of air is that 1) it is more consistent shot per shot velocity and 2) it will give you slightly better accuracy because with co2, the co2 will acually cool down your barrel (and marker) but in the barrel water will condence and stick to the inside of the barrel which causes the ball to spin as it goes down the barrel, in dry conditions its usually not a problem but if it is humid out it can throw off your paint.
