Cheapest thermal goggles?

I went paintballing yesterday and I rented a pair of vforce vantages. This was the pair of goggles I was considering getting but they fogged like a *****. Does anybody know any thermal goggles that are cheap? BTW, The vantage says thermal but it's really only an anti-fog coating, according to the guy at the shop.

JT spectras. They're not in "in" thing so you can get them used off the nation real cheap. I love them. they have a good field of vision and never ever fog.

Well, vforce arnt really thermal, but they are better than any thermal lense around. Get either the vforce morphs or shields and you will never have a problem, ever, with foggin (the ones with bubble vision) i beleive they can be had for around $25 and they are better than the vantages. The bubble vforce lenses dont fog like the flat ones.

I've seen JT spectra's go for under $10 shipped on PBN.

...and I rest my case.

Even if you don't buy used, you can get a pretty nice thermal mask for $40. I still don't see how any mask can be worth $90.

What makes the whole series of Dye masks so damn expensive? Their cheapest model is around $70.

Cheapness is NOT something you want to be looking for in the most important piece of equipment in your gearbag.

You're right, but a decent pair of thermal goggles should be good. $80 for a pair of goggles is just too much, even though goggles are the most important piece of equipment.

Tsk tsk, a $90 pair of goggles is very nice. It has nicer foam (reaaaaaallllllly comfy), better vision, better lenses, better structer(sp), are smaller to give less profile, promote bounces, and all around enhance your playing time. Trust me, $90 for a pair of goggles is worth it and not a waste of $$$ which you people think it is. You have obviously (none of you) actually used an expensive pair of goggles before.

I can't find anything that fits my face better than my profilers. But I bought them when they came out, back when they cost almost a c-note with tax.

blah blah blah. Thats mostly hype. Any masks above $55 or $60 are so close it dosn't really matter. They will all have a good lens, small profile, and give some bounce. The reason the dye ones are so expensive is because they say "Dye" on the sides.

It's this way with a lot of paintball equipment. Like gloves. If you look for a decent pair of paintball gloves they'll run you $30 for a cheaper pair, but you can buy a pair of 4-wheeler gloves for $15 or $20 that are overall tougher. They just don't have a paintball logo on the outside.

lol ok, i Own Dye Invisions, and coming from that crap mask i got with my pilot it is a dream! the foam is COMFY i mean come on how many times a day do you really get to stop and say ow my mask hurts? great field of vision, is made of a material that i don't know of ( haven't had ANY breaks on my mask, except lenses ) Dye maybe an "expensive" option, But, they make amazing products thus the higher price.

but yea, i'd save up and buy yourself a decent pair of goggles, It works out much better than buying cheap and going from cheap to cheap.

Gloves can be a rip off, now everyone hear me out. This man has never used a pair of nice goggles. Ive played with him almost since the day he began. He has never worn a nice pair of goggles in his life. Yet i have worn everything from a real **** pile to my profilers. It deos make a difference. Now that i have discredited you kaz, i have to say this to the thread creator: Nicer goggles really do make a difference, trust me, trust the thousands of people who dish out cash for them. It makes a difference.

Again like I said before Volkers, I will not buy expensive googles because there a rip off. Anything for $55-$60 will work just fine.

I'm NOT saying they are the same thing as a cheap $20 pair. Those are crap, I'm only compareing $55-$60 googles (like your Profilers! $65 brand new right now at actionvillage and a lot cheaper on e-bay and fourms.) to the new dye ones and saying your better off buying the profilers for cheaper because they are about the same. And the only higher end googles you've worn are the profilers. Discreadit that!

Also I started playing a year before you and brought you into the sport.

Illd rather pick up a set of vents in the 50~ dollar range(used) than the profilers. I've used many different masks, the vents are my favourite bar non

There is no doubt DYE goggles are kind of a rip off, the original ones anyways. What im saying is high end goggles (like my profilers) are worth the money. Its great that you can get them for that cheap now but even if they were $90 they are still worth it. Even though you played one year more than me (what, like a whole 6 times more IF that?) I have played more in a shorter amount of time. Its also because of me its still going and your experiencing this level of paintball.

Have you ever tried profilers? Ive never meet a person who has tried profilers and gone to some other company, barring sponsorship deals.
