hi im new to paint ball,i have a 05 spyder eletra,i was wondering if i should buy ups for this gun or save up for a ion or dynasty.is it possible to buy some eyes for the eletra?Also is there any way to take off my co2 tank without wasting so much.

1. No, your tank is going to leak but dont worry about it, its not that much.

2. Save up, get an ION and an on/off for it.

i'm not really sure about your first bunch of questions regarding upgrades. if you plan on keeping the gun, you could probably upgrade your barrel, board and possibly eyes. There is a section about modifications you can do yourself with little cost in terms of lighter switches and polishing your internals. If you just plan on using the marker until you get more accustomed to the game, then i suggest just switching out barrels.

As for the loss of co2 when unscrewing the tank, there's no way around that. all it is is the gass trapped between the nozzle of your tank and the valve that opens to allow the gas into the chambers. it isn't much, despite the sound, so it's nothing to worry about.

are u asking if the stock ion is better than the dynasty ion??? if you are than visual/apperance wise it is.
Performance wise it isn't because the only difference between a Dynasty Ion and a Stock Ion is that the Dynasty ion has a Dynasty body kit installed so there are no performance differences between a regular ion and a dynasty ion...if ur looking for visual upgrades instead of performance upgrades then you might want to get the Dynasty Ion but personally I would buy a stock Ion or a used one with some upgrades and just upgrade the guns performance instead of spending visual upgrades

To sum things up

*Visual* Dynasty Ion > Stock Ion

*Performance* Dynasty Ion = Stock Ion

qft = quote for truth. or rather he is agreeing with the other person. and just get a stock ion and upgrade it as you go. or to save you some money just buy the parts for a fully upgrades after market ion. my friend Brandon did that and he only payed 500 bucks for everything including the stage 5.1 lucky body and many ups I can't even list.

my electra is also lissing a bolt screw thing,the thing you pull back to cock it,when ever i need to cock it i use a screw driver,if any one has a extra one i can have or buy that would be great.

The 5.1 is a certain type of body which i would not get, just because its lucky. Lucky has had some problems in the US. Here, read this: The lucky story: How they screwed america!

Either Virtue or Scenario dreams T-board. Im not really big into boards, especially since i sold my ION. A board shouldnt be at the top of your list. Here is what i would do

On/off: If you dont and constantly unscrew your tank while under pressure, it will warp the threads on your tank and your asa. Then you will pay $80 for a new reg and $40 for a new on/off. Why spend all that when you can just get the on/off and save $80?

Feedneck: The one on their grips too tight. It will be better if you take the bottow 2 o-rings out and it will work peachy but it is still really tall and it has ruined a few hopper feednecks

Barrel: Just plain out accuracy

Bolt: Lightweight and decreases kick and increases efficancy

QEV: Its cheap and complements the bolt nicely

Trigger: It will feel nicer and give higher rates of fire. The ION stock is capable of a lot. Put a vlocity on it and it can shoot topes.

Reg: The stock one isnt bad, but a new reg by, oh say, CP will increase consistency which in turn increases accuracy.

Board: Just plain out speed. Plus it gives you a choice of modes.

Grips: Just for the feel, I personally really dont like the gorilla grips that come with the ION so i opted them out for a pair of Hybrids.

Body: Just get something that is light. Maybe that looks good also but weight>looks.

Frame: Really not necessary unless you cant stand the feel. They have out (Hybrid i believe) Their own version of the UL frame.

Also spend money ona nice hopper like a vlocity, it makes a difference. Also a nice tank is preferable but not as important as the hopper. DO NOT use CO2!

Yes, get an Ion. If you have a choice, get the Dynasty. It's not just visual upgrades, it also comes with quite a few performance enhancing upgrades.

Your first upgrade, if you are to get a stock Ion should be a feedneck, if not, you will probably break a hopper shell trying to get them out, and they're pains in the butt.

After the feedneck, it's all up to you as to what to get.

don't get an ION, get a Promaster, for $50 more it blows the ION away, and a Lasoya is $50 less, and is better. plus its smart parts...ewww...

umm ^^^^no. ion is all he will need, and I have had better experiences with an ion then I have a promaster.
