Triumph eXT by Tippmann? (n00b.)

I'm new to paintballing, and i need a decent n00b gun for cheap, and i was wondering if a Triumph eXT would be a good gun to buy as my 1st. They cost $100 and I could probably get a used Tippmann 98c for the same price, but I figured I'd probably go with a new gun, and this gun is also has an electric firing mode, so i figured this would be a good gun to start out with. Feel free to give me your thoughts and any suggestions. ^.^ If its for a different gun, try not to go above like $150ish. ^^;;

Dont get a triumph, they kinda um, suck worse than the 98. Get the 98 or a spyder Xtra.

Actaully, i just found a pretty good deal on a Tippmann 98c. It comes with a response trigger, a freak barrel, a viewloader, and a 20oz co2 tank. I bargained a bit, and got the price down to $80. It's im really good condition too. I'm pretty sure i want to buy it. Any second thoughts? Also, whats the firing rate using a response trigger?

That is a great price for a decent starter package. The response trigger fires one shot when you pull the trigger, and one shot when you release the trigger. So it isn't the fastest, but you can still throw some respectable amounts of paint.

Just concentrate on developing some skill as a player before you fall into the 20+bps trap like the rest of us.

I'm not trying to completely take advantage of him. XD I just want all the better parts out of the two guns. :-P and i think the buying it for $60 and selling it to him for $80 if good enough in terms of the money I'm getting from him. I'd make $20 off of him, so it's like i get the gun with the better parts for $60 and he gets the slightly crappier one for $80. But yeah... any suggestions about which parts i should replace or anything? and whats the purpose of the drop down? i might take it off, because it doesn't match.
