Description
Designed for the one-shot, one-kill player, the Longbow Sniper takes accuracy and stealth to a whole new level. Built on the back of the highest performance woods guns and pumps, the Longbow adds superior ergonomics to peak performance. The result: a paintball gun that looks, feels and shoots like a sniper gun should.
The Longbow system is completely modular – allowing you to mix and match Longbow components with other performance parts to create your own perfect sniper solution.
The sleek lines of the Longbow Sniper start with the Longbow Magazine System. Through a revolutionary detachable, horizontal clip, the Longbow requires no hopper. Twenty-one paintballs stand ready to spring-feed into your breach. This leaves your sniper rifle light, lean and low profile. Best of all, you will finally enjoy an uncluttered sight picture with the scope of your choice. The Longbow system allows you to carry additional loaded magazines that can be instantly swapped out with the push of a button.
The Longbow Shroud brings a new realm of modularity to the legendary line of Airgun Designs paintball markers. Along with the smoking good looks of the custom shroud comes a sturdy attachment point for the full line of Special Ops Paintball Stocks. When attached to the AGD Tac-one, eMag or RT Pro (current models,) the Longbow Shroud mounts any of our stocks and permits them to roll easily up and out-of-the-way to clear the rear velocity adjuster when you step up to the chrono.
The first-of-its-kind The Longbow Complete, as pictured, comes with all the following:
1) Airgun Designs Tac-One
The Tac-One is absolutely loaded with outstanding features and performance at an affordable price!
The Tac-One was developed specifically with the scenario player in mind and its Three Rail (Military Spec Picatinny) Black Anodized Aluminum Mainbody is designed to house a wide variety of optical accessories. A fourth mounting point on the bottom of the new Wingless Tac Rail is ideal for mounting additional accessories like a flashlight or laser sight. The Tac-One also sports a Black Anodized All Aluminum X-Valve with a Factory Tuned LvL 10 Anti-Chop Bolt, Black Micro-Switch-Ready Intelliframe with Blade Trigger and a cocker threaded two Piece J&J Aluminum Barrel.
This is an excellent sniper system.

When you said you shot one before, did you mean a real precision rifle?
"Snipers" in paintball don't exist in the commonly thought of form- Long range, precision shots from a hide.
Now there's nothing wrong with hiding and making your shots count, instead of spraying. But paintballs sometimes don't break when they hit someone, especially as distance increases, and they rarely fly perfectly straight.
I may be on my own with this one, but I think there's nothing wrong with making a paintball gun *look like* a rifle. The problem is that it will only shoot as far as any other marker on the field. There is no range advantage.
Some barrels (Read: better quality) when combined with good paint (read: good brand, nice and round and not dripping oil) will be more accurate than other markers.
Some markers are quieter than others. Nearly every brand looks different than others.
AGD makes good products, although I haven't owned one myself yet. It'll last you a long time.

Tac-ones are great markers, one of the best mil-sim oriented guns on the market. the longbow stocks are.....meh. If you want to get something like that, look at the q-bow and a q or warp loader.
a cheaper alternative would be to talk to someone like luke at www.lukescustoms.com and get him to help you setup a back bottle adapter on the rail, then use a screw in style stock.
I will warn you, as I always do, not to get started with mil-sim though. The tac-one is a cery nice gun that, while capable of being a milsim gun, is also capable of being configured like every other mag. If you want to get started with one, look into just getting the gun and hold off on the longbow/q-bow/stock option for a while.
also look into buying the gun from www.tunamart.com or www.themagsmith.com - much better prices.

yeah, can u imagine seeing people dressed in sniper camo with pumps on a yellow and red airball field? its just funny, and yea Torch is right. Paintballs accuracy come from the Barrel and the Paint to Bore match. so your awesome sniper wont shoot farther than the other guys ION. The most you want to buy in a barrel size is 16" MAX. any higher and the inertia will slow your paint down and causes bounces instead of eliminations.
Scenario play is very nice, people do missions and stuff and wear full camo and have squads and they use mil sim markers...gives u a feeling for real life combat ( although mil sim markers weren't designed to go full auto since most of them are mech style ) so, a precision Rifle is going to be differen't but if you enjoy one ballin' ( single shooting ) and kinda just playing back, thats ok.

yeah man snipers need to have huge long distance shot andprecision advantages, which unfortunately you can't get with a paintball marker. Every marker shoots at the same fps, and therefore had the same range. Accuracy does vary a bit depending on the efficiency and consistency of your gun. I would suggest you get a Tippman A5 if you want the woodsball look. THey are very good guns, much better than any Tac-5
