He can get what he needs for that I'm sure, especialy used. The gun can be had for around 280 with a hopper and tank brand new........


What I would do if was you and on that budget is look to a spyder vs2. You'll pay 180 for the gun, 20-30 for a tank, and would have enough left over for a good mask and a revvy or egg(or a used vlocity.). The gun shoots just as fast, and is as good if not better quality, than an ion.

stay away from CO2 on an ion unless it's a necessity. To run it, your going to need to look into a palmer reg and have an anti-syphon tube istalled, or your going to run into problems with bad o-rings ver quickly.

Okay, about other equipment. Amazon.com has a full set (pods, N2 tank, 12" barrel, marker, cleaning kit, manual <--important lol, basically everything you need) for for like 300. I'd say thats a good idea.

And no, you can't get everything with $80.

N2 definately, from what I hear, CO2 will KILL your gun. Haven't tried.

The problem wiht those N2 tanks is there very small. A 45/3000 tank on a spool valve of ANY variety isn't going to last through a full pod pack....

^? really? a HPA tank is the only way to go with a mid/highend gun. If you run co2 your going to run into problems. My reccomendation is to go ahead and save up a little bit more and buy a Used Ion, Used Halo, used 48/3000 tank, and a mask and pack of some sort. you'll be better off. Half assing and buying cheap **** is just gonna bite you back. and a waste of money

I didn't tell him not to get an HPA tank, but you know as well as I do how many shots your actualy going to get off a 48/3k tank. Like you said, don't half*** and buy inferior equipment just to do it....
