I just bought a new o6 ION with a blackheart board and halo b...
Now my question is..Will this gun adapt to woods ball..i was thinking on Picking up an tippy A5 with WAS board for that sorta thing but if my ion will do the job i wont.

an ion will do fine in woodsball as long as your not crazy man and smacking trees with your gun...

It doesnt matter. What makes a woodsball gun a woodsball gun? Looks? If a gun is better in one format its better in both. Speed, accuracy, weight, size, reliability and efficiency are part of both formats so if one guns better in one format its better in both. Any gun you get will work in the woods and on the speedball court. The gun doesnt have some censor that says, "Oop, were in the woods. Time to **** up." That being said you Ion will work fine.

woodsball is all about paint consumption, speeball u shoot a vast majority of your paint quickly where as in woodsball its more long ballin' it, so usually mech's tend to do better..haven't really seen a difference but people will swear by it.

And there in lies a problem with that theory. I have shot more paint in scenarios than a speedball tourny. The only reason people say to use mechs is because they dont want to shoot paint and they think they are wasting money by shooting paint in the woods. A huge advantage in the woods is to have a wall of paint come at your enemies, otherwise why would the biggest scenario teams in the world be using the double trouble A5's, Angels, and other high end speedball guns?

Barely any. Ions were huge when they first came out and then they got slightly bigger with the $100 price drop at the end of last year (around october i think).
