Thinking about playing paintball, have a few questions.
Yeah, looking for something to do with my buddies on my spare time. Would like to get some tournaments going in the local woodlands (which we here in PA have ALOT of unfortunatley) with around 5-10 of my buddies
My plan is to get like a 50-100 dollar semi-auto gun. I already have a mask.
My questions are
1) How much, if we were to play for 2-4 hours, will a game of paintball cost one person?
2) How long do CO2's last?
3) How much do CO2's cost to get refilled and where can they get refilled?
4) Is the game worth the price to play?
Thanks, would appreciate if anyone could answer those questions and share some of their knowledge about the game with me.

so you're considering doing outlaw paintball instead of at a established field? Realize that there are safety risks to your approach, ensuring you are all shooting at a safe speed (300fps and below) is difficult and enforcing the mask on requirment can be harder when it's just you in your friends in the woods.
1) This depends on how much paint you are going to shoot. For your first time of play people generally don't shoot over 1000 shots. This is typically $20 worth of paint if you are buying a decent brand.
2) a 20oz co2 tank can shoot over 1000shots
3) $5 typically
4) i believe so

i'm sorry, but in my opinion, you should all just go to an established field first. play for little bit, and learn knowledge from people in person. this way, if you still want to play out in the woods, you at least know basic stuff.
as for your questions.
bobide answered all of them, but realize if your not at a field, once you run out of co2, your done. i have tried this, but was very dissappointed with the outcome.
or you could just spend a little bit less money than going to a field and just go have a short but fun time in the woods for a little and be done. but as a reoccuring event for you and your friends, go to field.

definitely spend the time to go to a field. More people and typically well laid out and interesting to play fields can be found there.

That depends not only on how much you shoot but the region in which you play. Playing costs flucturate a lot between regions. I'd expect an individual to shoot around 1000 balls each durring a 6-8 hour day, so for you guys id say get a bag per person(500). So call up your local field and ask how much they charge for the balls, rentals(if needed), addmission, and co2 fills
2) How long do CO2's last?
It depends on how large the tank but a 20oz (the most popular) should get you through a full day without having to be filled
3) How much do CO2's cost to get refilled and where can they get refilled?
again, this depends on the place, but id say around a flat rate of $3 per fill. you can get them filled at paintball field/shops and at some sporting goods shops(ie:dick's).
4) Is the game worth the price to play?
some people hate it, some love it. id suggest trying it with a rental before going out and buying gear
