Just Tell Me The Guns!

No doubt, I'm new (I don't know Sh*t about Paint ball guns), and I'm looking for the best gun at the right price. I went to the "new player looking for guns thread". I didn't know what the hell they were talking about. So Just Tell Me The Guns that I should think about getting.

What I Need:

-I need a Gun with a limit of $300

-C02 Gun

-All accessories necessary (barrel etc.)

-Links to where I can Look these guns up

-Give me a list of 2-3 of the tops guns

spyder vs2, hands down.

you need a high pressure air tank to use it, and that'll also fit in your $300 budget.

Thank you

What does it mean when it says the gun is electric? Is that trigger related? And can you use it at local paint ball facilities?

it's the trigger. electric trigger have a VERY short pull(as in, a tap with your fingers) and shoot much faster as a result.

oh yeah. most fields only allow semi-auto mode for insurance reasons. So make sure you read your manual to make sure you don't change the firing mode by accident.

READ THE STICKIES FIRST! you wouldn't have asked the "what is an electric gun" if you had!

check the link in my signature, it's a GREAT way to get started. Within your budget, for CO2, I would get a VS1, tank, a nicer hopper(shoot look into the vlocity JR- few dollars more than the egg and a MUCH better hopper in every respect), a new feedneck, and a nicer mask(my recommendation is a set of profilers.)

You will not find another gun outside of the spyder vs1/2 that will function on CO2 properly and perform half as well under 99% of the conditions, for that price, brand new, period. The next closest consideration would be an autococker from actionvillage....but for a rank beginner, it doesn't need to be considered.

Used, there are a few options that are workable, but you still going to be better off with the spyder.

Marker = spyder VS1 (best marker with Co2)
Kingman VS1 Paintball Gun - Matte Blue at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

Other choices should be :
electra 2k6 w/eyes
Electra 2k5 ACS
Pilot ACS
Xtra
Sonix
spyder MR series

But stick with the VS1, it is really the best with CO2.

Also don't forget you'll need a mask, a tank and a hopper.

My choices would be :
Mask : Vforce Vantage V-Force Pro-Vantage Thermal Paintball Goggles - Charcoal at ActionVillage.com : Paintball
or Vforce Profiler V-Force Profiler Thermal Paintball Goggles - Green at ActionVillage.com : Paintball
Tank : 20oz (best CO2 format that last long) 20oz Aluminum CO2 Tank With Pin Valve at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

Hopper: there's alot of choices here, everything depends on how money you have. My choices would be :
Evlution 3 : Viewloader eVLution 3 Paintball Loader - Black at ActionVillage.com : Paintball
Vl eye force : Viewloader Revolution Eye Force Paintball Loader - Black at ActionVillage.com : Paintball
Viewloader Vlocity Jr : Viewloader Vlocity Jr Paintball Loader - Black at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

Hope this help.
