He is wrong, you can get guns for that much. Spyder has a gun or two for under 100. At Action Village you can but a used Spyder Imagine, which work well for beginners, for 70 bucks. A tank is 15 bucks new, and a gravity hopper is the same. You then have a set up. All you need is a mask and you are good to go.
Dont skimp on a mask, save 30ish bucks and get a nice used one.

He doesnt need decent, he hasn't played yet. And I have had my Victor 1 for three years without fail. I still use it to this day. Best 70 bucks i have spent in paintball. I went to upgrade to a b2k4 but I sold it before I could even use it.

Thread starter, that Imagine is the beginner gun you need.
And I'm not going to sell my Victor and put more money into paintball, I need money for car insurance, my cell phone bill, and to save up for a car. I hardly even play paintball anymore.

ehh
The middle one is the only one I'd even consider thinking about buying. But I'd still stay away from it because of the mask. If I'm not mistaken, that mask doesn't even have foam on the inside. Plus it's got a gravity hopper. you can buy an agitating revy for $25 used.
Definately look into a better, more comfortable mask. there's nothing worse than being irritated by a mask that isn't comfortable.
